Maruti XL6 Ertiga Cross will only be available in the petrol engine. The interior sees an all-black theme and gets a touchscreen infotainment system.
There have been reports that Maruti will launch a cross variant to the Ertiga line up named XL6 on August 21, 2019. It will sit at the top of the line trim. Recently, spy shots of the MPV were shared by Gaadiwaadi and boy the car looks good from the outside. Mind you, the XL6 will be a 6-seater Ertiga.
Now, new spy shots caught gives a clear image of how the interiors of Maruti XL6 Ertiga Cross will look like. Starting off, the car spied here gets a 4-speed torque converter unit. A 5-speed manual too will be available once it is launched. The 1.5L K15B four-cylinder unit churns out 105 bhp with a peak torque of 138 Nm and the engine will be BS-VI compliant.
Further shots reveal us that interiors of Maruti XL6 Ertiga Cross follow an all-black theme. The biggest highlight is seen at the second row of seats where it gets captain seats where contrasting seat upholstery can be observed. The regular Ertiga comes with a three-seater row at the back while the seating configuration in the XL6 limits to 2+2+2.

The car also gets a multi-function steering wheel, large touchscreen infotainment system supporting connectivity features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Recognition and Bluetooth.
Now taking you through the exterior design, the front fascia is where the car looks more aggressive. The dual horizontal grille, roof rails, Suzuki logo between the horizontal two slat grille, silver brushed aluminium skid plates are some of the highlights. The LED headlamp design is redesigned and the MPV gets integrated LED DRLs in the headlights section.
The soon to be launched MPV will sit on all-black 15-inch alloy wheels and gets blackened pillars. The rear profile looks more or less the same except with the XL6 badging and the body cladding which runs all over the car. It gets a chunkier rear bumper and skid plate.

The prices for the Maruti XL6 are not yet out but we expect it to sit at a premium of Rs 12 lakh ) ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price point, the MPV competes with the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Renault Lodgy. Let’s see how the product turns out to be in terms of sales when it gets launched.
