Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched its concept car, a compact SUV at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi India. The concept car will go into production by end of 2013 or early 2014. The new compact SUV is targeted towards the aspirational buyers of India who want to buy an SUV at an affordable price. The concept SUV showcased at Maruti represent the sporty, spacious yet fuel efficient and affordable compact car which is practical for urban landscape of India.

XA Alpha is designed is inspired by Indian wrestling martial art to personify power, passion, attitude and aggression of a wrestler. Maruti Concept SUV Expected Price Segment In India
Judging by the size and segment of the concept, the XA – Alpha will be priced under Rs. 8 Lakh price bracket when launched in its production version a couple of years from now. The reason for low cost is the overall length of 4 meters.
