India is home to some of the most insane car modification enthusiasts who often create ‘jugaads’ to improve their daily lives
In this post, we shall take a look at the details of a unique Maruti WagonR with a tractor mod. This has to be the craziest thing you’ll see all week. WagonR is among the highest-selling cars in the country ever. It has been around since 1999. With over 25 years of existence, it impresses me to see the kind of demand this vehicle commands even today. The largest car marque in the country has kept updating it from time to time. Therefore, in its current avatar, the hatchback has many admirers and buyers. For now, let us glance at the details of this latest case.
Maruti WagonR with Tractor Mod
This post stems from mrkasganjhacker895425 and jugadufamily on Instagram. The visuals are incredibly baffling. We are able to witness the front section of an old Maruti WagonR. The bonnet has been removed and the engine is exposed. However, the section behind the front seats has been eliminated. In fact, the creator has cut off this part entirely. Instead, he/she has kept the provision to attach a trailer of a tractor to the car. As a result, the vehicle is able to pull the trailer. This is an almost unbelievable make-shift arrangement which demonstrates people’s unconventional thinking.
This is a perfect case of ‘jugaad’. It refers to the ability to create a solution from the resources available at our disposal. Oftentimes, people create such innovative solutions in areas which are remote and don’t have the necessary means. Hence, such acts are needed to create low-cost solutions. This is a perfect example of that approach. Now, how the car is able to pull all the added weight, especially if the trailer is carrying a load, is beyond me. Still, due to its uniqueness, this post is going viral online.
My View
I have reported many such creative cases in recent times. India is home to an unorthodox approach, mindset and solution-seeking thinking. That is what makes our country so unique. In any case, we must also take care of our safety and the safety of others while going for such projects. In any case, I shall keep bringing similar instances for our readers in times to come.
