Finally, the new Maruti WagonR Facelift has got a TVC that showcases its updates and features Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergill
Recently, Maruti Suzuki launched the much-awaited Baleno Facelift. The premium hatchback has received a tremendous response from the customers. Now, the company has launched a new Maruti WagonR Facelift. It comes with a starting price of Rs 5,39,500 (ex-showroom). You can choose from the trims of LXi, VXi, and ZXi. Maruti has also released a new TVC that showcases the new car in action. It features popular actor Jimmy Shergill and comes with the tagline – Dil Se Strong. Here’s All We Know about the 2022 WagonR.

The new Maruti WagonR Facelift is much more stylish than ist predecessors, thanks to a floating roof design and new alloy wheels. It comes with a dual-tome color finish. As you can see in the TVC above, the Gallant Red Red color is matched with a Black roof and pillars. There is also a Magma Grey color option with a Black roof. The interiors also feature a dual-tone color scheme of premium beige and dark grey. The company has also added fabric seat covers. In terms of dimensions, it measures 3,655 x 1,620 x 1,675mm and has a wheelbase of 2,435mm. The Petrol version has a boot space of 341 liters.
For safety, the 2022 WagonR is based on the Heartect platform. Other safety features include dual airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners, seat belt reminder with buzzer, speed sensing, auto door lock, childproof rear door loc, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, front fog lamps, and a speed alert system. The new car also comes with Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD). Additionally, it comes with a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio with smartphone navigation and 4 speakers supported by cloud-based services.

The 2022 Maruti WagonR is powered by 1.0 liter/1.2-liter Advanced K-Series, DualJet, Dual VVT engines with cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation. There is also S-CNG options. You can choose from manual or AMT automatic gear shift transmission options. The 1.0-liter petrol engine offers 66 hp power and 89 Nm torque. On the other hand, the 1.2-liter engine produces 89 hp power and 113 Nm torque. The CNG version offers 56 hp power and 82 Nm torque.
