Maruti has launched the BS-6 WagonR 1.0 Litre variant, with a price hike of up to Rs 30,000. The price range now starts at Rs 4.42 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
Maruti WagonR 1.0 Litre variants are now BS-6 compliant. Earlier this year, Maruti upgraded the WagonR with BS-6 compliant 1.2 Litre petrol engines. The WagonR is available in the above mentioned two engine options.
Now, all the Maruti petrol engines are BS-6 compliant. The prices of Maruti WagonR 1.0 Litre BS-6 start off at Rs 4.42 Lakhs up to Rs 5.41 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Here is the revised price list:

The said 1.0 Litre three-cylinder K10B petrol engine also comes on the S-Presso, Alto K10 and Celerio. While the S-Presso was already BS-6 compliant at the time of the launch, the Alto K10 and Celerio are left to be updated.
The engine is tuned to produce 67 BHP and 90 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AGS (AMT) gearbox. With the new generation WagonR launched earlier this year, Maruti also put the bigger 1.2 Litre four-cylinder petrol engine under its hood.
The 1.2 Litre engine is used on other Maruti cars like Baleno, Swift, Dzire and Ignis. The engine is able to produce 83 BHP and 113 Nm of peak torque, with the same set of transmission options. The same engine also comes in a mild-hybrid version with the Baleno.

Bigger cars like the Ciaz, XL6 and Ertiga come with a 1.5 Litre mild-hybrid SHVS engine. The engine produces 104.7 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque. The same engine is expected to come under the Brezza Petrol and S-Cross petrol. Vitara Brezza and S-Cross in their petrol avatar are expected to be out in January 2020.
