On the occasion of the ongoing festive season, Maruti Wagon R Festive season Limited edition has been launched in India. It gets interior styling kit and reverse parking sensors.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Wagon R Festive season Limited edition in India. It gets an interior styling kit, a double din stereo with USB and Bluetooth connection and rear parking sensors. There are total 2 styling kits. The interior styling kit offers extra upgrades like seat covers and premium cushion set along with body graphics, and rear spoiler. The limited edition model is based on the top end VXi+ variant. You can opt for any of the limited edition kits for a price of Rs 15,490 and Rs 25,490 respectively.
The range of Wagon R starts from Rs 4.15 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 5.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices New Delhi).

In the Limited Edition Maruti Wagon R, you get wood inserts around the infotainment system and electric window button, a Pioneer sourced infotainment, premium seat covers and cushions, car steering cover, rear parking sensors, body graphics, and rear roof spoiler.
Other than this, the Maruti Wagon R receives no further update. It mechanically continues with the same 1.0 Litre K-Series petrol engine. The engine produces 68 BHP power and 90 Nm of torque. The tall-boy hatchback comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission along with an optional Auto-Gear Shift unit.
Features onboard the Maruti Wagon R include Electric ORVMs, Projector type headlamps, and Pillar Antenna. Inside the cabin, the hatchback gets infotainment with USB connectivity, Day/Night IRVM, Adjustable Headrests, 60:40 folding rear set, Adjustable Tilt steering, and Gear Position Indicator.

The safety features on the Wagon R include dual front airbags, ABS, Headlamp Levelling, Rear Wiper, and Defogger and front fog lamps.
Wagon R is due to get a new generation update in early 2019. It is going to get a whole design makeover with a host of new features. We expect Auto AC, steering mounted audio controls, a touchscreen infotainment system and much more features to come in the new generation.
Along with the new generation, Maruti is also planning to launch Maruti Wagon R EVs in India by 2019. It has already begun the testing of vehicles.

Now, Wagon R is all prepared to take on the likes of upcoming new Hyundai Santro, which will be unveiled next week. Following this, the Santro will be launched on 23rd October.
