It sports a 1061cc 4-Cylinder MPFI K-Series engine which comes with the A-Star and has been installed to generate a maximum power of 68 BHP @ 6200 RPM and a maximum torque of 90 Nm @ 3900 RPM and the drivetrain comes coupled with Cable type manual transmission unlike the earlier link type. This cable type transmission is the one which is fitted in Maruti Swift and Hyundai i10.
The fuel economy is fine as the vehicle returns nearly 19KMPL (18.9 KMPL) for each litre.

The suspension has been revised and now imparts better ride quality owing to the gas filled inside the setup which is very different from the oil filled older mechanism.
