Maruti Vitara Brezza vs Baleno vs Hyundai Elite i20 vs Mahindra KUV100- Price Comparison
Barring the top of the line ZDi+ trim, the rest of the variants of the Brezza are evenly matched with the Baleno and Elite i20 in terms of price. If it’s a Diesel you’re looking for, then for the price of a premium hatchback you can opt for a compact SUV, which will be similar in terms of performance, space and features. A hatchback, which sits lower, will obviously be more dynamically accomplished, but that will hardly matter to most of the buyers. The KUV100 is a much cheaper option. However, it does sit a segment lower and offers less space, features and performance.

Maruti Vitara Brezza vs Baleno vs Hyundai Elite i20 vs Mahindra KUV100 – Features
The Maruti Vitara Brezza, Baleno and the Hyundai i20 come similarly equipped with premium features like projector headlamps, LED pilot lamps/DRLs, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment, auto headlamps, dual front airbags and ABS, etc. Owing to the fact that it belongs to a lower segment, the KUV100 misses out on some of those features, but still comes across as a decently equipped proposition. 328 litres | 339 litres | 285 litres | 243 litres |
Despite its crossover credentials, the Vitara Brezza losses out to Baleno by a small margin. For its size, the KUV100’s boot capacity is pretty impressive, but it still is the lowest one here. While the Baleno’s boot is the most spacious, a high loading lip means it is low on practicality. Hyundai could have tried giving the Elite i20 a bigger boot.

Design
The Vitara Brezza doesn’t break any new ground in terms of design. However, all the styling elements come together to make it a smart looking SUV. The projector headlamps, LED pilot lamps and dual tone paint schemes add a bit of flair to the exteriors of the Brezza. The KUV100 is easily the most unconventional looking car of the lot thanks to the mini-SUV look. However, the small tyres do not suit the bulky exterior of the KUV100. Among the biggest draws of the Maruti Baleno is its styling, which has been widely accepted. The i20’s design has aged very well. The i20 is among the smartest looking cars on the road.
Much like the exteriors of the Vitara Brezza, designers have played it safe with the interiors as well. The dashboard design is simple yet elegant finished in all black with glossy black inserts. The KUV100’s cabin uses a much lighter colour scheme and feels airy. It gets an unconventional dashboard mounted gear lever. The Baleno’s interiors come finished in all blackbut aren’t as conservative as the Brezza’s. Finished in black & beige, quality levels of the Hyundai Elite i20’s interiors are top notch.
