New Maruti Swift Windsong Edition comes with additional features such as a touchscreen audio system
Maruti Suzuki India ltd has silently launched a new special edition of its highly popular Swift hatchback. The new Maruti Swift Windsong Edition comes with a handful of new features that work together to bestow the popular model with some more appeal. These new features include updates for both the car’s exterior and interior and the new model is exclusive to the V trim of both the petrol and the diesel engine variants. The latest special edition of the Swift, by way of offering a little extra over the regular variants, should help to further enhance the already stellar sales performance of the Swift hatchback.

Price
The new Maruti Swift Windsong Edition has been priced at INR 5.14 lakhs for the petrol engine variant. In diesel-powered VDi grade, the Windsong Edition costs INR 6.1 lakhs. (All prices mentioned are ex-Showroom, New Delhi.)

Features
The new Maruti Swift Windsong’s features list builds upon the V-trim for both the diesel and the petrol engine variants. On the outside, it gets ‘Windsong’ graphics, mud flaps and a roof-mounted rear spoiler.
On the inside, the car comes with an updated upholstery package that brings along new seat covers, new floor mates and a new steering wheel cover. On the features front, it gets parking sensors, illuminated sill guards, ambient lighting and a Sony touchscreen music system that is compatible with CD, DVD, Bluetooth and USB. The touch-interface also backs up as the display for the reverse camera.
Fuel Mileage
As we mentioned above, the new Windsong edition is based on the regular petrol and diesel variants and hence, is powered by the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel units that power the regular model. The petrol engine has a fuel mileage of 20.4 km/l and the the diesel motor offers 25.2 km/l.
