Maruti Suzuki India has announced another Limited Edition car in its limited edition series with Maruti Swift RS limited edition in VXi petrol and VDi diesel trim levels. With dipping car sales and tough economic conditions, Indian car makers are coming up with new offers and special value editions to improve on sales of the cars. The Maruti Swift RS aka Rally Sports edition seems to be a part of the same effort by Indian car makers. The Swift RS celebrated the cumulative 1 million car sales under the Swift brand.
Price
With this special sporty package which costs Rs. 24,500 additional to the price of the car, the Swift RS VXi Petrol is priced at Rs. 5.23 Lakhs and Swift RS VDi Diesel is priced at Rs. 6.34 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
What Is New In 2013 Maruti Swift RS?
With this extra money, you can get the following features additional to the standard VXi and VDi trim levels:

- Black blue motorsports graphics all around the car

Swift RS is not the only limited edition by Maruti in recent times, Maruti has done a number of special edition launches in the past few months which includes the Maruti Ritz Buzz Edition launched in June 2013 and Maruti Ertiga Anniversary Feliz Edition with special features. Sometime back, Maruti also launched Swift Dzire Regal with special features. Last year, Maruti launched the Swift Alpha Edition to push the sales of Swift. Limited edition seems like a trend by Maruti Suzuki with a new limited edition every other month.
