The iconic Maruti Swift has been conceptualized by a digital artist as a practical MPV. Swift is one of the Indian market’s most successful vehicles to date. This success has led digital artists to utilize it as a blank canvas for showcasing their creativity. Notably, the Swift has been in the spotlight recently, with anticipation building around its upcoming upgraded version in our market. While the facelift model has already been unveiled in Japan, the Indian variant may feature slight alterations in both exterior design and interior layout. For now, let’s delve into the specifics of this distinctive digital illustration.

Maruti Swift as Practical MPV
These enticing renderings emerge from octane9tfive on Instagram. Note that there are multiple versions of the Swift.
First Version
In the first avatar, we see a striking front fascia with an angular headlamp cluster with integrated LED DRLs, a colossal front grille, a sporty bumper with a splitter to protect the underbelly from pebbles, a prominent fog lamp housing with chrome surrounds and a racing car-type body graphics which run the entire length of the car. On the sides, there are white multi-spoked alloy wheels and a bagged stance with low side skirting and a sliding rear door, reminiscent of MPVs and vans. This version looks quite neat in this yellow paint.

Second Version
In the second avatar, there are some concrete alterations. At the front, the overall design is almost the same, but look closely and you will find some differences. These include a vertically-oriented fog lamp housing which contains multiple lights. The entire unit is wrapped with a chrome belt which lends it a more premium appearance. Apart from that, there is an aggressive front splitter which is almost touching the ground. On the sides, one witnesses a robust alloy wheel design. Even this version carries the bagged stance, yellow colour and body graphics. There are orthodox door handles in this trim. Interestingly, the tyres are slightly inclined.

Third Version
This next trim might look somewhat similar to the first model, but there are specific distinctions. The hawk-eyed among you would recognize that the front profile bears different headlamps, which are more round than angular. Even the radiator grille is divided into two parts instead of one large unit as in previous cases. The fog lamp housing is fresh with an LED element in addition to the round lamps. This iteration doesn’t look bagged. There are black body graphics, white alloy wheels and a has a regular 5-door layout. Hence, the rear door doesn’t slide back but opens like a regular car instead. In all honesty, the front profile reminds us of the MINI Cooper to a certain degree.

Fourth Version
The next illustration by the digital artist is distinguishable from the others. At the front, it gets a sharp headlamp cluster with round LED DRLs integrated inside the cluster. The radiator grille also bears a red insignia and the fog lamps are rather compact. There are yellow highlights around them. Also, it gets white body graphics, a low stance, rugged alloy wheels with low-profile tyres, a bagged appearance with low-slung side skirtings, black side pillars and windows, and black elements on the front fender. Even the wheel arches are slightly pronounced. It gets regular doors and not the MPV-specific sliding doors but the MPV silhouette is very much there.

Fifth Version
The final illustration of the Maruti Swift in a practical MPV avatar is also unique. While this is a short and compact vehicle, this iteration consists of three door handles which is weird. Even if it is an MPV with a third row of seating, there is no need for a third door. That just looks superfluous. There are black windows with rain visors and a mix of black and white body graphics. This rendition also gets a bagged stance with white alloy wheels and low-profile tyres. The boxy silhouette toward the rear makes it look like a colossal MPV. However, this might not necessarily be the case. The front fascia consists of a large grille with a thin bifurcation, a prominent fog lamp unit with chrome surrounds and a notable splitter.
