New Maruti Crossover (YTB)
Maruti Suzuki’s YTB project will be revealed at the Auto Expo in 2023. The new crossover appears to be quite muscular in the several spy images we have seen so far. The upcoming model could feature several styling cues similar to the ones on the latest Grand Vitara. In the carmaker’s lineup, the new model will be slotted between the Baleno and the recently launched compact SUV.

The new model will share its HEARTECT architecture with the latest-gen Baleno. However, powering the upcoming crossover could be a BS6 iteration of the 1.0 Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine that propels the now defunct Baleno RS. As has been the case with the recent crop of Marutis, there will be a long list of features on offer. These would include a large-size touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, HUD, Automatic Climate Control, Arkamys sound driver, electric sunroof, wireless smartphone charger and more.
Maruti Jimny 5-Door
Jimny has been one of most-awaited SUVs in the Indian market. Now, the India-spec model is close to debut and it will be sharing exterior design language with the global iteration of the car. That said, the Indian model will be longer and will have 5-doors. It will also be a logical replacement of the legendary Gypsy. In India, the Jimny will compete with the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha.

The motor will work in tandem with a mild-hybrid system to optimise fuel efficiency. Features on offer are likely to incluede a Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, automatic climate control with rear AC Vents, Keyless Entry and a start/stop button.
