Maruti has launched a new premium MPV, the XL6 and its prices start off at Rs 9.79 Lakhs. It is based on the Ertiga, but will be sold through the Nexa dealerships.
After teasing the XL6 for a while now, Maruti has finally launched its new premium MPV. Yes, it is based on the regular Ertiga but gets some design changes, new feature additions and a slight change in the sizes as well.
The price of Maruti XL6 starts at Rs 9.79 Lakhs going up to Rs 11.46 Lakhs, and will only come in the top-spec Zeta and Alpha trims. Following is the variant-wise price list of the XL6:

Maruti XL6 comes with 6 individual captain seats, unlike the regular Ertiga which is a 7-seater. The new MPV is 50mm longer, 40mm wider and 10mm taller, but the wheelbase remains the same.
The XL6 comes with a single-engine, the new 1.5 Litre K15B petrol unit from the Ciaz and the Ertiga. The engine produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque, with the options of a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. Also, the engine is now BS-6 compliant, making most of the Maruti cars compliant.

Inside the cabin, you get an all-black interior theme with a silver brushed strip running across the dashboard. You get all leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel to offer a plush experience.
The updated design of the XL6 now comes with a chunky body cladding around the body, faux aluminium skid plates on the front and rear, the new two-slat chrome grille, refreshed LED reflector headlamps, roof rails and sharper creases.
Maruti XL6 will be available in six colour options including, Nexa Blue, Pearl Brave Khaki, Prime Auburn Red, Pearl Arctic White, Metallic Magma Grey and Premium Silver. It will be sold through the Nexa dealership and the regular Ertiga will be sold through the Maruti showrooms.
At this price, Maruti XL6 is now priced closer to the Mahindra Marazzo and Renault Lody, which are its only competitors as of now.
