The Zonal Round of Maruti Suzuki WagonR Think Big Challenge Season 3 for the participants of the Young Turks category from Northern India was held on 14th July 2012 at Institute of Marketing & Management (IMM), New Delhi. Mr. Maneesh Kumar Meena from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was adjudged the winner of the Northern Zone. His unique idea of starting “Craft Mandi”, an online as well as physical store that sells handicrafts to external markets after sourcing them from local craftsmen was well received by the judges. He will compete with the finalists from the South, East and West Zone to win the coveted ‘Young Turks’ title.
WagonR Think Big Challenge Season 3 is a business idea contest set to provide a unique opportunity to Young College students to realize their dreams of becoming successful entrepreneurs. 4 semifinalists each were chosen from various cities to compete in the North, West, East and South Zonal rounds. The finalist from each zone will be mentored by Industry experts. The winner of the national round will also get a chance to participate in WagonR Think Big Challenge 3 Mainline Contest where he can win a brand new WagonR, Rs 10.0 lacks and a chance for venture fund.

The Young Turks Category of the Think Big Challenge 3 caters to students from B-Schools all across the country. The Category received a whopping 5000 registrations from college students from 19 cities across India. 160 unique business ideas were registered.

The young students now have an excellent opportunity to get support for their business ideas and realize their dream of entrepreneurship.”
