The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza petrol facelift is available in four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ – and a total of 9 variants including the manual, automatic and dual-tone color options. Here’s a detailed list of features on offer with each variant.
Maruti Suzuki just launched the Vitara Brezza petrol facelift in India yesterday for a price of Rs 7.34 lakhs and it goes all the way up to Rs 11.40 lakhs, and its available in a total of 9 variants. That’s including the automatic and dual-tone variants. With the facelift, Maruti Suzuki has also made its compact SUV a petrol-only model, as the BS4 1.3 diesel engine has been discontinued. It now gets the K15B petrol engine which is also seen doing duty in the Ertiga and the Ciaz in India.
The engine is good for producing 105 bhp and 138 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter automatic as an option on the higher variants. To keep costs on check, Maruti Suzuki will be offering the Smart-Hybrid fuel-saving technology only on the petrol automatic variants but not on the variants equipped with a manual gearbox.
The facelifted Vitara Brezza gets plenty of styling upgrades too. There are new larger fog lamp housing and the turn indicators have now been moved up to the main headlamp cluster. Although the headlamp cluster remains identical in its shape, it gets new chrome inserts on the top and new LED DRLs at the bottom with dual LED projector headlamps. The refreshed SUV also gets faux skid plates for its front and rear bumpers. At the rear, the tail lamp gets new LED elements, giving the SUV quite a premium look.

The updated petrol compact SUV will face some stiff competition in its segment. It will rival the likes of the heavily updated Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and the upcoming Renault HBC compact SUV and Kia Sonet that will launch later this year. And before you ask, there’s no plan of the Vitara Brezza with a diesel engine in the future as of yet.
