However major technical details are already in open because the new swift is already launched in European countries and many spy pictures have been floating around the web for a long time now. The details which are yet to be revealed are the prices, details on features and equipment levels and other specific details of India model of Maruti Swift 2011. One of the reasons for which Maruti might not be revealing the launch dates in advance is that it might not want the sales of existing Swift to dip in the event of people deciding to postpone their purchase for the new version. This is already happening as many people are aware of the upcoming Swift.
Above pictures is shared by an automobile enthusiast on the official Facebook Page of the Car and Bike Show. The car is seen at a dealership (details of dealerships have not been shared yet). After we saw the picture, we contacted the concerned corporate PR agency to enquire if any launch date has been fixed, to which we got a reply that no date has been freeze as yet. Some automobile websites speculate the date to be mid of June, some say its last week of July or first week of August, well one of them maybe true. All we can say on that is that we don’t have the official date as yet, but we also expect the official launch will be held within coming two months or so.
