In the festive month of October, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 10,000 units of the S-Presso, entering the top monthly sales chart in just a month from its launch in the market.
Maruti Suzuki launched the S-Presso in India on September 30 and right from the start, the car has made a very good case for itself. Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has sold 10,634 units of the S-Presso in the month of October 2019, putting the car in the list of the 10 bestselling models for the month.
It just took Maruti Suzuki 11 days to rach up 10,000 bookings for the S-Presso. And now, that has also been converted to actual sales figure. Interestingly, October is not the first time when the S-Presso has managed to earn itself a spot on the monthly sales chart. As said earlier, the car was launched on September 30 and in just one day, Maruti sold over 5,000 units of the S-Presso, earning it an eight position on the monthly top selling car’s list.
Speaking about the S-Presso’s performance in the market, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “Today, Indian buyers have a clear inclination towards feature-loaded, safe, comfortable and easy-to-own entry-level cars. S-Presso has been able to carve out its own niche in the entry segment. S-Presso stands apart to offer unique experiences to its distinct customers in the segment. We are enthused with the response and thank our customers for their confidence in S-Presso.”
