It is fascinating to see how well digital artists are able to come up with unique iterations of regular vehicles
In this post, we come across the 7-seater Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, albeit in the digital realm. Digital artists have a knack for creating distinct avatars of vehicles which we see on a daily basis. That is where their imagination and skills come into the picture. The Grand Vitara is one of the most successful mid-size SUVs in the country. It belongs to a fiercely competitive space in the market which is led by the likes of Hyundai Creta. Still, the Grand Vitara has been able snatch customers away from the Koreans. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest rendering.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater Digitally Imagined
We are able to experience this illustration courtesy of SRK Designs on YouTube. This channel features content around digital concepts of everyday cars. On this occasion, the artist has chosen the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. He/She has smartly increased the length of the SUV to incorporate an additional seating row. That lends it an imposing road presence with larger dimensions. In fact, one can evidently recognize that this is a much bigger vehicle. Unfortunately, we don’t have the visuals of the interior to see how everything fits. Still, the added chrome elements near the C-pillars accentuate the premium vibe.
The standard Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is on sale at the moment with two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder mild hybrid or a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder strong hybrid with an AC synchronous electric motor and a Lithium-ion battery pack. These mill output a decent 103 hp / 136 Nm and 116 hp / 141 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Interestingly, the naturally aspirated mill is also available with an all-wheel-drive configuration which is great for moderate off-roading activities. This mill can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the strong hybrid uses an e-CVT automatic transmission. Finally, the CNG mill makes 87 hp and 121 Nm. The prices range from Rs 11.19 lakh to Rs 20.09 lakh, ex-showroom.

My View
I have come across many iterations of digital automobile artists demonstrating their creativity and imagination in the virtual realm. This is yet another example of that. In recent times, there have been rumours floating around which mention the official launch of the 7-seater variant of the Grand Vitara. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. I shall keep an eye out for more details when they emerge.
