The Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV was supposed to launch by the end of this year. However, as per the latest news reports, the launch might get delayed to early next year. The largest carmaker in the country is entering the EV race later than most of its rivals. But it wants to ensure that it starts selling EVs only after the demand is high and the charging infrastructure is fairly well-developed. However, going by the previous concept versions, we expect it to get a sleek LED lighting setup including the DRLs and headlamp. This model showcases black side pillars and alloy wheels. At the rear, the sloping roofline indicates a coupe silhouette. This trend is becoming more and more popular with each passing day. The post description mentions that the launch has been postponed to early next year. We shall have to wait a bit longer to know more details about the electric SUV.

While there are no official details about the powertrain of the eVX, we expect it to carry a 60 kWh battery pack. That could offer a range of around a decent 550 km. Apart from that, the eVX could come in either a 2WD or a 4WD configuration. The electric SUV will make power between 138 hp and 170 hp, depending on the variant.
