The electric SUV segment has been quite hot in our market in recent times
In this post, we are comparing the Maruti Suzuki eVitara and Tata Curvv EV on the basis of features, specs, design, etc. The Indian automobile industry is in a transition phase from ICEs to EVs. Granted, the market share of EVs is almost negligible. Still, the growth rate is quite high. Going forward, we are witnessing more and more carmakers introduce new electric car models in our market. For instance, the eVitara is the first EV from Maruti Suzuki. That is a huge step for the Indo-Japanese car marque. In fact, we will also have its Toyota counterpart. On the other hand, Tata Motors is the largest EV maker in the country. Its Curvv EV is a coupe electric SUV which bears a distinct appearance. For now, let us compare the two thoroughly.

Design and Dimensions
This is one aspect where the two electric SUVs differ significantly. The Maruti Suzuki eVitara comes with a rugged exterior styling. This includes Y-shaped LED DRLs integrated inside the main headlamp cluster, a tough fascia with a contoured bumper and sturdy black elements to enhance the adventurous traits. On the sides, I like the prominent fenders with matte black claddings which encapsulate dual-tone alloy wheels, side body claddings on the door panels and a hunched rear fender. At the rear, we see a shark fin antenna, a roof-mounted spoiler, connected LED taillamps and a sporty bumper. All in all, the electric SUV certainly bears an imposing road presence.
On the other hand, the Tata Curvv EV is unlike any other vehicle in this segment. It carries that coupe SUV silhouette rather well. The front fascia is quite modern with elements like a sleek LED light bar which runs the width of the vehicle, the main LED headlamp cluster is located on the sides of the unique bumper which contains attractive patterns and a skid plate under the bumper. On the sides, the EV gets elegant wheel arches with elegant alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, side body claddings, black side pillars and a sloping roofline. Completing the design, we get to witness a roofline along with a shark fin antenna, an extended bootlid spoiler and a connected LED strip with reflector lights on the edges of the sporty bumper at the rear. All kinds of buyers will have something unique to think about.
