The new top-spec Maruti Suzuki Alto VXI+ trim gets the SmartPlay Studio system through a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system, enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Maruti Suzuki has just launched a new fully loaded variant of the Alto. This new variant of the Maruti Suzuki Alto is the VXI+ variant and it comes with Maruti Suzuki’s SmartPlay Studio system through a new 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system, enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is the first time the Maruti Suzuki Alto is seeing the addition of a touchscreen infotainment system in its features list.

The Alto VXI+ with a BS6 compliant engine is available for a price of Rs. 380,209, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Alto VXI+ will be available with enhanced safety features: dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and seat belt reminder for both driver and co-driver.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) launched the new 2019 Alto 800 on 23rd April 2019 with subtle changes on the exteriors and a BS-VI compliance engine under the hood. The new engine reduces NVH levels and improves efficiency. It also has a high fuel efficiency of of 22.05 km/l.

The exteriors of the new Alto 800 comes up with a new mesh grille at the front, new bumpers and side fenders. The side profile of the car was left unchanged and the 800 and Maruti Suzuki badging at the rear have been removed. The interiors largely remain identical to the older Alto 800 but of course, there’s the new infotainment system and new AC vents and bottle holders that was introduced with the BS-6 update earlier. The 2019 Alto 800 is powered by 796cc three-cylinder petrol motor delivering a power output of 48bhp and a peak torque of 69Nm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission
