In a bizarre viral video, a Maruti S-Presso is spotted towing a relatively ginormous Tata Safari on a highway. We keep witnessing incredulous activities on our roads on a daily basis. While a lot of them are just for fun, some could get quite serious. Anyway, in this post, we are discussing the former. S-Presso is a micro-SUV which is quite popular among those who are looking for a vehicle with an SUV-ish stance at an affordable price point. On the other hand, Safari is a large 7-seat SUV. Note that this is the older generation model. Here are the details.

Maruti S-Presso Seen Towing Tata Safari
This post comes from rushlane on Instagram. It captures a rather unusual activity. Someone was driving on a highway when he/she spotted something strange in their rearview mirror. A piddly Maruti S-Presso was towing a gigantic Tata Safari. The man waits on the side of the road in his car to record this interesting case. Within a few moments, the S-Presso-Safari duo passed this car. He even records the entire configuration from the rear after the vehicles have passed. This is truly remarkable and the reel has been doing well among the netizens.

Now, people are calling it the Lord S-Presso. We don’t quite agree with this judgement and conclusion. Sure, it is impressive for such a small car to pull a large SUV. However, it is not unusual. Once the large car is in neutral and the road is flat, any car can pull just about any other car. Sure, the engine will need to work a lot harder and the petrol consumption will be significantly higher as well. But it is not impossible to pull it. In fact, if the road is flat, even a few people can actually push a large SUV. Therefore, we must consume such content with a pinch of salt.

Author’s Note
While this is theoretically possible, we don’t advocate for such activities. Small cars are not designed to tow huge weights. Doing it in emergency situations once in a while is alright. But if you keep on doing these stunts on a regular basis, they are bound to be detrimental to the vehicle. Many components of the cars, including the engine and transmission could easily get broken. Apart from that, there could even be long-term damage to critical mechanical components of the car. Hence, you must stay away from doing such activities. People often perform such acts to create viral content. Make sure to never do this with your personal vehicles.
