Moreover, people often take it to the aftermarket to get the latest modifications. The aftermarket car shops offer some incredible work these days with access to a lot of world-class spare parts and technicians. Let us take a look at the details of this latest case.

Maruti S-Presso with Scissor Doors
This video comes from richtorque on Instagram. It captures a rather unusual sight. There is a black Maruti S-Presso with doors which open upwards. This is the same pattern we see in some exotic vehicles including many Lamborghini models. Clearly, the owner has modified the way the doors operate. There are a few talented car shops which are able to install such doors on regular cars. Apart from that, this S-Presso also has chunky aftermarket 5-spoke alloy wheels and tons of body stickers. It looks like a car designed for racing. Finally, a glimpse of the inside reveals sporty red interiors and upholstery.

What We Think
While we appreciate the effort put into making such alterations, it’s essential to understand that most car customizations are not in compliance with Indian laws. Engaging in such changes could lead to encounters with traffic police and subsequent fines. Thus, we strongly advise against extensive customizations for your vehicles. Instead, we encourage you to consult your local Regional Transport Office (RTO) to obtain a clear understanding of the legal aspects pertaining to these modifications. Some alterations are permissible within the legal framework, and you can even have them officially recorded on your car’s registration certificate to ensure their road legality. Let’s commit to being responsible, law-abiding drivers.
