In this latest digital illustration, the electric version of the Maruti Jimny has been visualized. In the realm of Japanese automakers venturing into electrification, Suzuki is noticeably arriving later than many of its counterparts. Maruti Suzuki, in particular, has made it evident that it has no plans to embrace electric vehicles until at least 2025. Nevertheless, a prominent digital automobile artist came up with a rather enticing avatar of the Jimny. It draws inspiration from the current generation model. Let us take a look at the details of this unique virtual rendition.

Electric Maruti Jimny Visualized
This post comes from SRK Designs on YouTube. The designer goes deep into the details of this illustration. At the front, this Jimny looks quite imposing and butch. This is due to the illuminated grille with vertical slats and a horizontal Suzuki logo slapped across it. I also like the retro round headlamps with LED DRLs integrated into the cluster. Apart from that, it carries a rugged bumper and an upright bonnet. On the sides, there are two doors, confirming that it is based on the existing model. The side steps enhance the ingress and egress characteristics of the SUV. Also, the alloy wheel design is quite elegant.

Apart from that, the wheel arches are pronounced and the black roof lends a sporty outlook. There are black body claddings on the side door panels. Just to prove that this is an electric vehicle, there is charging equipment nearby from where the EV draws power using thick cables. The boxy silhouette is reminiscent of hardcore lightweight off-roader’s rich legacy. It would be fair to infer that if Maruti Suzuki ever decides to introduce an electric variant of the Jimny, it would look something like this.

Author’s Note
I am thrilled to witness this refreshing rendition of the eco-friendly Maruti Suzuki Jimny. Digital illustrations of popular cars give us an excuse to get away from the monotony of the repetitive design. Therefore, we, at CarBlogIndia love such attractive and imaginative renditions of vehicles. We must also mention here that such renditions are ideal the digital realm alone. Drawing inspiration from these to modify your actual vehicle might not be the best idea. This is because most car modifications are illegal in India.
