The All-new Maruti Jimny is all set to be launched in the Indian market. Now, it has been spotted at an authorized showroom in Gurugram. In the run-up to the upcoming launch, Maruti Suzuki has started to display the new Jimny at all the NEXA showrooms/ dealerships across the country. This is bound to build up anticipation for the upcoming SUV. The unveiling at the NEXA showroom in Gurugram was captured by a YouTube channel ‘Oye Arjun’.

Likely to Launch in Second-Half of April 2023
As you can see in the video above, the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny is directly unloaded in the showroom from a crane and parked under the showroom’s spotlight area. It is fully covered under a black cloth. The eye-catching car is then unveiled in front of a crowd. It features its signature shade of Kinetic Yellow. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny has an impressive road presence. It retains the classic neo-retro design of the three-door Jimny. However, the company has added a longer wheelbase and two additional doors for the second row.

The new five-door Jimny was officially unveiled at the Auto Expo in January 2023. It also announced the start of bookings at all of its authorized dealer outlets and on its official website. While there is no information about its price, the official launch is expected to happen toward the end of April 2023. Multiple dealerships have confirmed that they will be receiving the first batches of the lifestyle off-roader in the second half of April 2023. In India, it will compete with the likes of Mahindra Thar.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Specs
The All-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny only comes with a petrol engine option. It is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that can be paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The company claims that the new SUV will offer 104 PS of maximum power and 138 Nm of maximum torque. The off-roader SUV will come with Suzuki’s AllGrip four-wheel-drive system as standard.
