A prominent digital artist has developed a charming rendition of the Maruti Jimny Electric. In fact, he is calling it Jimn-e. Apart from that wordplay, there are tons of customizations on the lightweight off-roading machine. Jimny is one of the most successful affordable off-roaders on the planet. It has a long history and legacy which stretches to over 5 decades. Having attained immense success in multiple international markets, it is available in a 5-door avatar in India for the first time ever. For now, let us check out what the artist has done to this vehicle in the digital realm.
Maruti Jimny Electric Imagined
We are able to catch a thorough visual of this model via the bimbledesigns handle on Instagram. At the front, the first thing which catches my eye is the digital writing on the grille area which reads ‘jimn-e’. Apart from that, the LED lights on the extreme edges look ultra-modern. The upright and butch stance lends it an aggressive and muscular demeanour. I particularly like the off-roading focused bumper which enhances the approach angle significantly. Also, the auxiliary LED light bar on the roof will be extremely helpful during the nighttime.
Moving down the sides reveals an intriguing profile too. The wheel arches are cut out in a squared shape and the wheel claddings have been eliminated to give it a raw vibe. Also, the colossal alloy wheels painted in black with off-road rubber look stunning. The front and side sections also showcase the raised suspension setup. Towards the third quarter section, the roof-mounted luggage carrier and quarter glass certainly elevate the strong road presence. At the rear, the Maruti Jimny Electric gets an upright boot door with tiny LED taillamps on the edges and a compact bumper to aid the departure angle. All in all, I must say that the artist has done a commendable job in creating this.
My View
I appreciate the creativity, imagination and implementation of today’s digital artists. They have the capability to transform any vehicle totally. This electric iteration of the Jimny is a prime example of that. The artist ensured that the original DNA of the Jimny moniker remains intact, while the exterior represents the modern and futuristic era. I have to compliment this rendition and would love to bring more such cases for our readers in times to come.
