This has to be India’s only Maruti Jimny with a Brabus kit. I have written about multiple G-Wagon conversions of the Jimny in the past. But this has to be the first model with the Brabus Kit to take things to the next level. Owners of Jimny SUVs are increasingly turning to aftermarket modifications to give their vehicles the iconic G-Wagon appearance. On one hand, the Jimny stands out for being an affordable, robust, and lightweight off-road SUV. Boasting a heritage spanning over fifty years in the global market, it has recently entered the Indian market with its fourth iteration, showcasing an innovative 5-door design, a departure from its previous models. On the other hand, the G-Wagon is renowned as one of the top luxury off-road vehicles worldwide. Here are the specifics of this recent development.

Maruti Jimny with Brabus Kit
This video comes from CarBike360 on YouTube. The host has two modified Jimny SUVs – one with the Brabus Kit and one with the old Land Rover Defender Kit. Both these SUVs look mighty attractive. The Brabus Kit makes the Jimny look almost similar to the iconic G-Wagon. At the front, I particularly love the round headlamps with round LED DRLs, the tri-star arrow emblem, the broad grille, the rugged bumper with cutouts for more airflow, the turn indicators on the extreme edges of the clamshell bonnet and the overall stance is imposing.

On the sides, I appreciate the flaring wheel arches which offer a rugged appearance to the SUV. Moreover, the side steps lend practicality and enhanced ingress and egress characteristics. Furthermore, there are auxiliary LED lights on the roof, plastic strips on the door panels and aftermarket alloy wheels. What is certainly evident is the raised suspension. It enhances the off-roading prowess of the lightweight off-roader a lot. At the rear, the look gets complete with the spare wheel on the boot lid, LED taillamps on the bumper and a sturdy bumper. All in all, the resemblance with the G-Wagon is uncanny. This costs a whopping Rs 6 lakh.

Author’s Note
We recognize and value the enthusiasm of individuals looking to personalize their vehicles for a distinctive appearance. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to be aware that numerous car modifications may not comply with the laws in India, potentially resulting in legal issues with the police. Therefore, we strongly discourage making significant alterations to your vehicle. If customization is still something you desire, it’s advisable to consult with your local Regional Transport Office (RTO) first. If the proposed changes are permissible, they can be officially recorded on your vehicle’s registration papers. Taking this step will ensure that you steer clear of legal complications in the future.
