We bet you would never have thought of a 7-seater version of the iconic Maruti Suzuki Jimny. In India, we get the current fourth generation iteration of the Jimny which is on sale with the 5-door configuration for the very first time in its over 50-year-long history. While it is for those potential owners who value practicality over everything else, a 7-seater virtual rendition is born on the same basis. Wouldn’t it be great to take the entire family along for an off-roading adventure? Well, the freedom of the digital realm allows us to perceive and materialize this wild notion. Here are the details.

Maruti Jimny 7-Seater
A prominent digital automobile designer has come up with a rather enticing iteration of the Jimny. The inspiration behind this model clearly comes from the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser. The latter is a world-famous off-roader which is considered one of the most reliable and capable SUVs around. In order to accommodate a third row of seating, the SUV needs a much elongated wheelbase and length. Interestingly, this designer has neatly and seamlessly integrated the extended wheelbase to the 5-door Jimny. The rear section looks like a part of the stock Jimny. The wheel arches are massive and the rear section embodies a boxy silhouette.

Apart from that, the roof rails are rugged and the black B and C pillars look adventurous too. At the rear, it gets a bootlid-mounted spare wheel with a rugged bumper. The creator has christened it Jumbo. We must appreciate how well it integrates with the design of the original Jimny. That is something which indicates that something like could be a natural progression from the existing model. But we know that we will never see something like this in production. Still, such renditions are great to stimulate our senses.

The biggest advantage of digital illustrations is the fact that they are not bound by physical laws and limitations. Hence, the free flow of creativity results in the inception of vehicles which we never thought would’ve been possible. Therefore, these are a great way to indulge in something which breaks the monotony associated with established cars for decades. Only in the virtual realm can a version of the Jimny rival something like the Land Cruiser!
