This post arrives from haryana_gaurav on Instagram. It captures a the unique layout of the Maruti Jimny. Only the side profile is visible in this image. But that is exactly where it differs from the regular model. The first thing which catches the eye is the addition of an extra axle and a set of wheels. In order to accommodate this setup, the wheelbase has been extended and an extra wheel arch has been carved out. In fact, the rear compartment now consists of a cargo bed, much like pickup trucks. Also, a reinforcing rod has been installed on the back as well to improve rigidity. We appreciate the excitement of people who want to customize their vehicles to stand out. However, it’s important to understand that many car modifications may not follow Indian laws, which could lead to legal trouble with the police. That’s why we strongly advise against making major changes to your vehicle. If you’re still keen on customization, it’s a good idea to talk to your local Regional Transport Office (RTO) first. If they approve the changes, they can officially note them on your vehicle’s registration documents. This will help you avoid legal problems down the road.
