He mentions that if you are looking for benefits on the Jimny, there is still time. You might remember that Maruti Suzuki was offering massive discounts on the Jimny at the end of last year. However, many people thought that it was the last opportunity to get their hands on the Jimny at those prices. But some dealers are still offering incredible offers on the Jimny. The vlogger mentions that at this showroom, the normal offers are up to Rs 1.25 lakh. But if you are good at bargaining and negotiation, this number might stretch up to Rs 1.5 lakh. That is a huge discount.

The Maruti Jimny comes with a familiar 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine which outputs a healthy 103 hp and 134 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine works in tandem with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. All variants of the Jimny come with Suzuki’s trademark ALLGRIP PRO 4×4 system. This ensures that people get a taste of just how capable the lightweight off-roader is. It can tackle just about any terrain with its 210 mm of ground clearance. The approach, breakover, and departure angles are 36°, 24°, and 50°, respectively. It retails between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.95 lakh, ex-showroom.

I feel, having discounts on cars is the most direct way to spur demand in the market. In fact, it is the oldest trick in the book. That is the strategy the largest carmaker in the country is deploying. Before the arrival of the 5-door Thar and 5-door Gurkha, Maruti wants to popularize the Jimny to its maximum potential.
