The off-roading enthusiasts in India are celebrating the launch of the Maruti Jimny after waiting for years.
Maruti Jimny has been slapped with 16-inch Enkei alloys by this aftermarket wheel shop. Jimny is among the most prominent and successful lightweight off-roading SUVs in the world. It has been selling well in multiple international markets since time immemorial. But Maruti Suzuki has brought the 5-door version for the very first time in the decorated history of the Jimny. The reason is quite simple – Indian customers want practical cars and the 3-door version is just not that. The 5-door version of the Jimny already bagged over 30,000 bookings even prior to the price announcement.

What We Think
There are a lot of people who take their cars to the aftermarket alloy wheel shops in a bid to make their cars stand out from the crowd. Slapping exotic alloy wheels is the easiest way to impact the road presence of any car. This is particularly true for hardcore off-roading SUVs like the Jimny. However, we must advise our readers to never go overboard with upsizing. Extremely large alloy wheels are heavy, impact mileage negatively, and could cause issues with braking, suspension and other mechanicals if the new alloys are too large.
