Maruti Invicto is the re-badged Toyota Innova Hycross which is a premium MPV with a strong hybrid powertrain.
The base model of the Maruti Invicto has been detailed in this latest video. It is available in Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants with a starting price of Rs 24.79 lakh ex-showroom. Being a premium MPV, the Invicto offers a lot of space inside the cabin in addition to being equipped with the latest tech and convenience features for the passengers. In this bass trim, there is a 6-seat layout with captain seats in the middle row. Note that while the Toyota counterpart comes with naturally aspirated engines too, Maruti’s version comes with the sole hybrid powertrain.

Maruti Invicto Base Model
The video has been uploaded by HER GARAGE on YouTube. The vlogger takes the viewers on a walk around tour of the MPV. Even though this is the base model, the exterior looks quite premium. This includes things like a thick dual-chrome bar at the front with a chunky Suzuki logo, sleek LED headlamp setup, turn indicators mounted on the extreme edges of the bumper, glossy piano black materials on the radiator grille and a silver skid plate. On the sides, there are 17-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured door handles with keyless entry. At the rear, one gets a shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler, LED tail lamps, washer and wiper, high-mount stop lamp, and a chrome strip connecting the taillamps.

Interior & Features
On the inside, you get champagne-coloured inserts in various places including door panels and the centre console, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, softouch materials on the door panels and dashboard, height adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, paddle shifters, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio and multimedia controls, automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, manual IRVMs, rear AC vents, reclining third-row seating, cup holders and plenty of storage spaces.

Specs
The Invicto features a robust hybrid powertrain comprising a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder hybrid petrol engine working in conjunction with an electric motor. This combination delivers a total power and torque output of 184 hp ans 205 Nm and is mated to an e-CVT automatic transmission. Notably, the Invicto marks the first Maruti Suzuki vehicle to exclusively offer hybrid and automatic variants. In addition to its impressive hybrid capabilities, the Invicto also includes an electric-only mode. It boasts a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 9.5 secs. Built on Toyota’s TNGA-C ‘High’ platform, which is the same as the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Maruti Invicto powers its front wheels with a transversely positioned engine.
