In a weird turn of events, a Maruti Ignis driver crashes into a sunglass showroom. The crash has been captured in CCTV footage. Ignis is a cross-hatch that is quite popular among youngsters due to its quirky design. Being a Maruti product, the fuel economy is high and the running and service costs are low. We have seen many cases where amateur drivers are found behind the steering wheel of the car making critical errors. This is one such case.

Maruti Ignis Crashes into Sunglass Showroom
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps posting content around performances and details of vehicles during unfortunate crashes. This time around, a case has emerged where a novice woman was behind the steering wheel of an Ignis. As per the information in the video, the case has been registered from West Bengal. The CCTV footage shows the Ignis arriving in the parking outside a sunglass showroom.

However, it looks like the driver pressed the accelerator in place of the brakes. As a result, the vehicle accelerated into the showroom. The front section of the showroom was made up of glass. The car shattered the glass door and collided with the sunglasses kept inside the shop. This caused damage of around Rs 5-6 lakh, as confirmed by the shop owner. Thankfully, no one was injured in this unfortunate scenario. But the woman in the driver’s seat looks completely terrified of what transpired and is crying.

We can only advise our readers to spread the message about the fact that one must not drive a car alone if he/she is not properly trained. Also, we don’t know how people are able to get a driver’s license when they can’t perform basic manoeuvres with their cars. The testing procedure needs to be stricter and proper care has to be taken regarding the qualifications and capabilities of a driver before handing out the license. We hope that such incidents are not repeated.
