They are seen opening up the tents on the roof of their SUVs. These are readymade tents that need no space on the ground. People typically use these to camp in the snow on top of the roof of their cars. In this way, they are able to stay clear of contact with the snow on the ground and prevent themselves from extreme cold. These camps provide enough warmth to the occupants. The YouTuber mentions that they will come with even better equipment next time including sleeping bags for -25 degrees and large batteries to support heating and use of electrical appliances.
