Since its introduction, this five-seater SUV has gained popularity among customers, consistently securing a spot in the top three for monthly sales. Maruti Suzuki attributes this success to the strong hybrid and AWD variants, with strong hybrid models featuring e-CVT transmissions and boasting an impressive fuel economy. The Grand Vitara is available with two petrol hybrid powertrains. The first is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder mild hybrid with the option of AWD, delivering 103 hp and 136 Nm of torque. The second option is a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder strong hybrid, featuring an AC synchronous electric motor and a Lithium-ion battery pack, generating 116 hp and 141 Nm of power and torque. The mild hybrid offers a choice between a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT, while the strong hybrid exclusively comes with an e-CVT automatic transmission. Impressively, the strong hybrid achieves a remarkable mileage of 27.97 km/l (ARAI). Pricing for the Maruti Grand Vitara ranges from Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
