Author’s Note
Maruti Grand Vitara is a successful and popular mid-size SUV in our market. It rivals the likes of the mighty Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, VW Taigun, Honda Elevate and Skoda Kushaq. This is one of the most rapidly expanding segments in India. That is the reason why almost all major players have their products in this space. These two can be the most desirable trims for potential Grand Vitara buyers. Hence, we must decide whether the extra goodies which Maruti Suzuki offers in the Zeta trim are worth the premium or not. Well, if you are on a strict budget, you can do without these additional amenities as well. You will still get the same powertrain and transmission. On the other hand, if your budget is flexible and you enjoy a bit of indulgence, you can spend the additional money on an SUV with alloy wheels and a premium cabin feel. In any case, there is no right or wrong decision here. It just depends on your needs.
