Specifications
Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes with a range of powertrains and variants. It is offered in five trims, namely Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha, and is available in seven attractive colors: Arctic White, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, and Grandeur Grey. Moreover, the car offers dual-tone options in Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver colors.
One notable powertrain option in the Fronx is the 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine. The turbocharged motor made a comeback after being initially introduced in the Baleno RS in 2017. Due to low demand and the shift to BS6, it was discontinued but has now returned. The Boosterjet engine delivers a power output of 100hp and torque of 147Nm. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. This makes the Fronx the only Maruti Suzuki model currently available with a turbo-petrol engine. Additionally, the Fronx offers a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 90hp. This engine is commonly used in various Maruti cars. It is available with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission.
