In the latest incident, a Maruti Fronx crashes into a Ford Aspire. Now, Fronx is one of the latest vehicles from the largest carmaker in the country. It is based on the Baleno premium hatchback and sits above it in Maruti’s India lineup. It is selling in decent numbers considering it competes in the over-crowded compact SUV segment in India. On the other hand, Ford quit manufacturing cars in India back in 2021. In fact, there are rumours floating around about the American auto giant making its re-entry in India in the coming months. For now, let us take a look at the details of this crash here.

Maruti Fronx Crashes into Ford Aspire
This post comes from Raftaar 7811 on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and car crashes. On this occasion, a case has emerged from Faridabad, Haryana. As per the information in the video, the Fronx was being driven in the wrong lane. As a result, it ended up colliding with a Ford Aspire. The impact was head-on. However, it looks like the drivers must’ve seen each other and slowed down. Resultantly, even though the impact was face-to-face, the damage was not that significant.

Still, what is interesting is the fact that the Ford Aspire seems to have suffered almost comparable to the Fronx. That is not to say that the Fronx was completely safe. There are dents and deformations to the front sections of both cars. The bumper, bonnet, skid plate, headlights, fenders, etc have been broken to some extent on both cars. There are no reports of any injuries to the passengers on either side. That is great news. We must not jump to any conclusions based on an isolated incident. We should only rely on the official safety ratings to judge the build quality of a car.
