Digital illustrators often demonstrate their creativity by devising unique iterations of regular cars.
In this post, I shall elucidate a sporty iteration of the mighty popular Maruti Ertiga. Ertiga is among the most successful MPVs in the country ever. It has found applications among private buyers, as well as commercial fleet operators. I have been reporting about virtual renditions by talented artists for a long time. More often than not, I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed by their creative imagination. They generate a distinct avatar of a car that we have seen thousands of times. That is exactly the case with this latest Ertiga as well.
Maruti Ertiga Sport Rendering
This digital concept stems from malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. I appreciate the efforts that the artist has put into designing the front fascia. There is a colossal grille with a honeycomb pattern with a huge Suzuki logo at the centre. It is flanked by slim projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. Down below, we also witness the chunky fog lamps with black housings. Also, the bumper looks sporty. The side profile remains very much identical to the regular Ertiga with a black roof, a shark crease on the door panels, stylish alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler and wraparound taillamps. In essence, it reminds me of the erstwhile Swift Sport which was on sale in many parts of the world.
Maruti Ertiga has been due for a facelift for quite some time now. The popular MPV, in its current avatar, comes with a familiar 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates a decent 103 PS and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing the transmission duties is either a 5-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. It offers a mileage of 20.51 km/l with the manual and 20.30 km/l with the automatic. Apart from that, the Ertiga is also available in CNG guise. With this mill, the power and torque figures drop down to 88 PS and 121 Nm, respectively. The mileage of this mill is a decent 26.11 km/kg. To get your hands on one, you need to shell out between Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 13.03 lakh, ex-showroom.

Our View
Experiencing routine vehicles in different avatars surely induces excitement and helps broaden horizons. What I like the most about this rendition is the fact that it is not overly done. Most artists stretch so far away from reality that it makes no sense whatsoever. But this is definitely something that we could see in the production-spec model too. I appreciate the realistic attributes of this rendition. Also, I shall keep bringing more such instances for our readers in times to come.
