Digital artists have a knack for creating enticing iterations of regular cars which we appreciate
In a rather compelling virtual concept, an artist has come up with a pretty believable digital illustration of the famed Maruti Ertiga. Note that Ertiga has been among the highest-selling MPVs in the country. First launched in 2012, the people hauler has been at the top of sales charts in its class. What I find the most impressive is the fact that in over 12 years of existence, there hasn’t even been a single product which could challenge its dominance. That is a testament to its capabilities and popularity. For now, let us take a look at it in a different light.
Maruti Ertiga Digital Illustration
The specifics of this virtual rendition stem from malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. The artist has done enough to set it apart from the existing model without going too far away from the original vehicle. At the front, we witness striking LED lighting with tri-module LED DRLs which form the eyebrows of the sleek LED headlamps, a sporty bumper with fog lamps on the extreme edges, a colossal grille section with dotted chrome elements and a huge Suzuki logo in the middle. This accentuates the front profile.
Moving down the sides reveals an almost identical silhouette to the existing Ertiga. There is the trademark sharp crease on the door panels which runs from the front fender to the taillamp. Apart from that, the stylish alloy wheels suit the MPV traits of the Ertiga quite well along with the wheel arches with a hint of sportiness due to the side skirting. The black side pillars highlight that floating roof effect. Albeit the tail section is not visible, the glimpse of the taillamp indicates the resemblance with the current-gen Maruti Ertiga.
My View
Now, we know that we might get an all-new Maruti Ertiga as the current model has not been facelifted for a long time. Maruti Suzuki has been busy with the new-generation versions of the Swift and Dzire. Perhaps, we will get to see a new Ertiga with tons of modern-day amenities, like on the Dzire. The largest carmaker understands the mindset of the Indian consumers a lot. Hence, it will definitely design the new Ertiga in a manner which most people would love. Let us keep an eye out for that.
