Toyota is all set to launch its own version of the Maruti Ertiga. Known as the Toyota Rumion, it will come with a host of minor changes inside and out. Even though it will look and feel a lot like the donor model, a new facade should help it with a unique distinct identity. The launch of the MPV will likely take place by the end of this month. The Maruti Ertiga is currently available in a price range of Rs 8.64 lakh to Rs 13.08 lakh (ex-showroom). In all chances, the Rumion will cost a tad bit more.

Toyota Rumion Details
Toyota and Maruti Suzuki have launched multiple models in partnership with each other. The upcoming MPV will be the fourth cross-badged product in the Indian market. It is likely to be launched by the end of August or early next month. As of now, the price is not confirmed. It is expected to come with a starting price of Rs 8.8 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings will start with the official price announcement. Customers will be able to choose from manual and automatic transmission options.
The Maruti Ertiga-based MPV will have a resigned front fascia. It borrows design cues from the Innova Crysta for the front facade. On the inside, the upcoming car will have a dual-tone theme. The dashboard trim will also get a different tone of shade. The Toyota Rumion MPV will feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, engine push start-stop button, cruise control, projector headlamps, and automatic AC.
