Digital automobile designers showcase their talent by coming up with interesting design concepts for popular vehicles. This Maruti Brezza pickup truck is an ideal example of it.
The new Toyota Hilux could find an affordable competitor in this concept Maruti Brezza pickup truck. Hilux had recently made entry into our market in a relatively niche lifestyle pickup truck segment. With the platform and performance of the trusted Fortuner, people have a great alternative to the Isuzu V-Cross. In this video, however, Bimble Designs has developed a cool illustration of the Brezza in a pickup truck configuration. Let us check out if it has what it takes to challenge the likes of Hilux and V-Cross.

Maruti Brezza Pickup Truck To Rival Hilux?
There are quite a few changes to the overall design to make it look like an appropriate pickup truck. However, the front fascia bears a ton of resemblance with the regular Brezza. To make it stand out though, there is a sporty red strip inserted into the front grille, the black skid plate lends it a rugged appearance and gives it an upright stance. The main highlight includes the chunky and wide high-profile tyres befitting for an off-roader while keeping the alloy wheel design similar to the original Brezza. On the sides, side steps have been added for easier ingress and egress because the pickup truck sits quite high from the ground. The rear wheels have been extended backwards to free up more space for a longer wheelbase.
The designer mentions in the video that the cargo bed has been borrowed from the Hilux. However, the integration into this Brezza is seamless and one can’t really tell that it is not a production-ready vehicle. The cargo compartment features design creases on the outside and has protection rods installed at the rear. The taillamps are large but relatively simple, as is the case with most pickup trucks. There are functional roof rails for added flexibility and utility. The side steps and allow wheels have red highlights to make it look adventurous.
