Maruti Brezza LXI to ZXI Plus – Should You Do It?
The YouTuber records the conversion process of the base Maruti Brezza. To install various elements, the entire car is dismantled including the seats, dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel. There is a 9-inch infotainment system that has been fitted without leaving any panel gaps. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and gets the control buttons, reverse parking camera, ambient lighting has been installed, chrome door handles have been added, rear seat headrests are fitted, and there is a new audio system, new 17-inch alloy wheels, customized flooring for ease of cleaning and much more.

Now while these modifications are great but it must be understood that the fit and finish like the factory-fitted equipment can’t be achieved. Also, certain features like 6 airbags are not possible to incorporate into this irrespective of how much money you pour in. Therefore, one can’t really convert the base model to the top model completely. The car shop owner says that the prices of modifications start at Rs 25,000 and the upper limit depends on the choice of accessories that the customers opt for. On top of everything, such extensive modification is sure to void the warranty. Plus, all the additional wiring and other electrical work lead to a higher chance of a short circuit.

There are options of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It offers a mileage of 20.15 km/l in LXi and VXi trims (MT), 19.89 km/k in ZXi and ZXi+ trims (MT), and 19.80 km/l in Automatic trim. The prices range from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh, ex-showroom.
