Baleno to get Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Maruti will equip the Brezza manufactured in December 2022, with factory-fitted Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This would enable hassle-free connectivity between the user’s smartphone and the OS of the vehicle (SmartPlay Pro+ in the case of Maruti products. As a result, it will get the handy function of turn-by-turn navigation for the Head-up Display and MID. The existing customers need not worry as this update will reach them via OTA (Over-The-Air) update. They could visit the service centre where it will be downloaded to their car’s system free of cost.

This feature will most likely trickle down to other cars as well. Hence, the first recipient of this might well be the Baleno which is the closest to the price range of the Brezza. It already gets the Connected car tech with the latest infotainment system from Maruti. Hence, this function would enhance the convenience of the users significantly. Note that it might be extended to all the products with the SmartPlay Pro+ Operating System.
