Ths most popular hatchback Baleno from Maruti Suzuki received a massive 23% drop in sales and stands at 13,689 units for June 2019. The car competes with the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Glanza.
The Baleno recently received BS-VI compliant engines this year which also played an important role in increasing the overall sales. However, the big dip of 23% in sales for June,19 might be due to the recently launched Glanza, which is the rebadging of the Maruti Baleno.
Toyota Glanza looks identical in designing to Maruti Baleno except for the badging and the double-slat chrome grille upfront. The interiors and the infotainment system and the convenience features are just the same as its donor vehicle, Baleno.
