In a hilarious and shocking video, a few people pull a Maruti Alto out of a cliff on a mountain. However, the compact hatchback comes out and drives itself to fall from the other side of the mountain. I keep reporting various stupid activities on roads on a daily basis. Car drivers always keep performing stupid and mindless acts. On some occasions, we can simply laugh off the matter. However, some cases can be quite serious and bear fatal consequences. People Pull Maruti Alto, It Falls Again
This video comes from negiarvind on YouTube. The exact location of this incident is unknown. But this video has been going viral across multiple social media platforms. The visuals capture a rather shocking incident. The vehicle has somehow rolled off the road on the side of the mountain. Some local people have gathered around the scene. They decided to push the Alto out of the gorge using brute force. Since the car is at an awkward angle, no one sits in the driver’s seat. Multiple people simply push the Alto out of the cliff.

Surprisingly, they use such high force that the vehicle speeds out of the mountainside. Since there was no one there to stop the vehicle once it reaches the surface, the slope pulled the Alto to the other side of the mountain. Finally, the Alto falls off the cliff from the other side. Unfortunately, this time around, the vehicle suffered significant damage. Also, the cliff is at such an angle that it would be almost impossible to pull it out using just manual labour. Only a crane would be able to pull it out this time.

Author’s Note
It is ubiquitous in the mountains to use such small hatchbacks. Up until a few years ago, the Maruti 800 was the go-to car for the mountains. Now that it is no longer available, the Alto 800 replaces it. Its peppy mannerisms and low-end torque ensure that one feels confident in taking it up any mountain. Not to mention, because of its low weight (732-850 kg), it is easier to carry too. Believe it or not, such incidents are quite common in the remote parts of the mountains. Vehicles keep going off the road for various reasons and cranes are not always a phone call away. In such cases, local people get together and lift the cars up manually. Hence, the low weight plays in its favour.
