This is a bizarre case of a man sitting on a chair on the roof of a moving Maruti Alto! There is no shortage of such weird stunts by people on the internet. In fact, many such people do this just to gain the attention of the viewers and get new followers to boast. Unfortunately, that is the world we live in. Therefore, idiotic acts like these are promoted on social media platforms by such creators. However, in doing so, they end up risking their lives and hurting public property (in some cases). This video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents as well as road safety. This time around, an utterly idiotic case has emerged where a man is seen sitting atop the roof of a moving Alto. He has placed a chair on the roof and is seen sitting comfortably while the car moves in a circular motion. What is even worse is the fact that no one is driving the car. He has a mechanism in place where the accelerator is pressed partially and the steering is fixed in one direction while the doors are open.

Now, there are several ways in which he could easily hurt himself in this process. Within a few seconds, one such scenario plays out. Suddenly, the leg of the chair gives way and crumbles due to the load and the man falls directly onto the ground. Thankfully, he doesn’t get run over by his own car even though he is so close to the moving tyre. This is a clear warning sign for anyone looking to imitate such mindless acts that are quite common on the internet these days.

It is high time we start taking road safety seriously. There are thousands of instances on the roads each year which could easily have been avoided, had the person followed the regulations. This case, in particular, is outright stupid and asking for trouble. Let us pledge to not encourage and promote such content on the internet. Many people watch this and try to imitate such acts. Invariably, they will end up hurting themselves because of just how pointless and perilous these things are. If you find anyone doing such stunts, make sure to report them to the authorities.
