Abhishek Bhardwaj, a resident of Arrah, Bihar, received his education from local government schools and completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Veer Kunwar Singh University, Arrah. His father, Triloki Nath Upadhyay, is a lawyer, while his mother is a homemaker. Abhishek started his professional career in the corporate sector, working at Max Life Insurance and later at Kotak Mahindra for eight years. However, what happens next is something that many hardly even contemplate.

Not Satisfied with His Corporate Career
Despite a successful corporate career with a monthly salary of Rs 75,000, Abhishek wasn’t happy with his career choice. However, he faced disappointment from his father when he expressed the desire to quit his job. Having no family history of entrepreneurship, his decision to start a tea business was unsettling for his father. Abhishek, a former academic topper, left his job after unsuccessful attempts to secure higher appraisals.
Fueled by a passion for bikes and a Bullet motorcycle, Abhishek observed the tea market and identified an opportunity. In 2022, he initiated his venture by selling tea on his RE Bullet bike along the Delhi-Gurgaon Highway. Despite modest initial sales, Abhishek’s determination and positive outlook led to the growth of his business, earning him the title of the famous “Bullet Chaiwala.”

Becomes Popular as ‘Bullet Chaiwala’
Offering quality tea at Rs 10 per cup, Abhishek’s unique approach attracted customers. In less than six months, he achieved monthly earnings of Rs 1,00,000. His popularity as the “Bullet Chaiwala” has garnered attention, and he plans to expand his business to other parts of the country. Abhishek finds greater satisfaction in his tea venture, connecting with locals and travelers.
A devotee of Goddess Durga, Abhishek donated his first earnings to a temple. Operating his tea stall near Janak Cinema in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, he manages monthly expenses and saves enough for the future. In fact, his decision has made him a local celebrity of sorts. Despite success, Abhishek misses the support of his father, with hopes of mending their relationship in the future.
