A man in Ahmedabad got beaten up after he began honking at the cows sitting in the middle of the road. The news has gone viral. We know that cows are sacred for a whole lot of people in our country. However, there has to be a line somewhere indicating what is allowed when it comes to animals disturbing the daily activities of people. Man Beaten Up For Honking At Cows
This shocking incident has been reported from the Ogan village of Viramgam Taluka in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A certain Mayursinh Jadhav was returning in his car with his mother from a temple. There was a herd of cows sitting in the middle of the road blocking traffic. In such a situation, he did what every other driver would do. He began honking at the cows to make them move. However, Mahendra Bharwad, the owner of the cows took offence and gathered some locals with him.

Shockingly, the group began assaulting Jadhav physically. They used sticks to beat him up and damage his car. What is even worse and disgraceful is the fact that the group also attacked Jadhav’s mother when tried to intervene. As per the report, the group threatened to kill Jadhav if he ever spoke anything against the cows. Needless to say, this comes as a shock what people are willing to do to each other over petty issues.

The accused have been booked under IPC sections 147, 149, 323, 504 and 427. The investigation is underway and we can only hope that the guilty party is punished. Also, we must add here that no one has the right to take laws into their own hands. Apart from that, we must understand that our roads are considered to be some of the most dangerous in the world.
