A video has emerged online where a young driver is seen using a mobile phone while driving and captures the consequences of it. Road safety is one of the most critical aspects of driving. However, teenagers especially are often seen making a mockery of traffic regulations. In addition to driving recklessly, some of them even entertain distractions that could prove to be fatal for not only themselves but others on the road too. This is one such case where the occupants had to face the repercussions of this stupid act.

Dangers of Using Mobile Phone While Driving
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. As a part of the safer cars for India initiative, he keeps posting videos of such incidents to highlight how a particular car performs under unfortunate situations. In this video clip, a bunch of teenagers are seen driving on the road while making reels. At one point, the driver takes over the phone and loses control of the vehicle. Resultantly, the sedan is seen crushed against a tree a few moments later. The entire episode has been captured on the phone. This reflects the issues and results of using a mobile phone while driving. There is just nothing else that could’ve happened as a result. Thankfully, no one is injured seriously.
The Indian roads are infamous for being quite dangerous. This is partly because of the physical conditions of the roads, the unpredictability of what could happen on the road and mostly the driver abusing the traffic regulations on a daily basis. You must be ready to report such miscreants to the authorities to infuse the fear of punishment in them. That is the only way to ensure adequate road safety and make India lose the tag of being so dangerous when it comes to driving.
